Sales Pitch: Explosive twitchy tackle with tremendous raw power. Built more like a guard but stellar tape at RT should get him at shot outside first.

Scouting Report
Armand Membou is a former 4-Star guard recruit from the state of Missouri. He was a multi-year starter for the Tigers at RT, finishing his career with 30 straight starts. Membou allowed 0 sacks in 2024, his age 20 season, and received All-SEC honors for his efforts.
Membou is an explosive lineman with a wide frame an excellent natural strength. A experienced, player he is easily able to sift through traffic as a blocker and find his target. Membou is at his best as a zone blocker. He has a dynamite first step to get out of his stance and is quickly able to flip his hips and seal off the front side of Wide Zone runs. He displays the agility to climb to the 2nd level and seal off linebackers from the backside as well. Membou is a capable man blocker, where his size and raw power create displacement in the run game. He has strong hands to clench and drive defenders with a finishers mentality. In pass protection Membou has the quickness to beat speed rushers to their landmarks and the redirect ability to close off counters to his inside. He displays quick independent hands to get first contact and control reps. His wide stocky frame has the bend and core strength to drop anchor and protect the pocket versus power rushers as well.
Membou’s body type is more typical of a guard with 8th percentile height and 26th percentile length for the tackle position. His lack of length can limit his ability to control blocks in the running game. He will get over extended and not bring his feet with him, creating balance issues. Membou has a bad habit of dipping his head on contact allowing defenders to slip off his blocks during the 2nd and 3rd phases of reps. He has many of the same issues in pass protection. Membou has to be aggressive with his hands due to shorter arms and can overshoot on quicker sets. He must also improve his punch timing to disarm speed to power moves, which had good success in college generating initial knockback.
Membou profiles best as a starting tackle in a zone run scheme. While his build screams guard, his natural athletic ability and strength at only 20 years old should get a shot to stick at tackle first. Membou projects as a Top-20 pick who can play either guard or tackle from Day-1.
